Sacramento Farm-to-Fork Week Recap 2013
Sacramento is America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital, and the inaugural Farm-to-Fork Week was a huge success. Tens of thousands of people came to the city to celebrate excellent local food and drink, and from a cattle drive in the beginning of the week to a dinner for 600 on Tower Bridge at the end, it was chock full of events.

There are more than 8,000 acres of boutique farms in the region, 80 percent of the world’s caviar is from here, 80 percent of the world’s almond supply comes from the Central Valley, and Sacramento has some of the best chefs in the country ready to create excellent dishes – oftentimes including ingredients in a dinner that were picked that day.
