Event Spotlight – Center for Land-Based Learning Spring Dinner on the Farm

A mouth-watering meal sourced from local ingredients. Dining under the stars, while sipping beer or wine from your favorite brewery or winery.  Knowing that your fantastic dinner benefits one of our region’s nonprofits. Sounds like an evening to remember!

The Ceclbl_logo-dinner-rgbnter for Land-Based Learning (CLBL) will once again celebrate our region’s bounty with its Spring Dinner on the Farm, hosted at the Farm at Putah Creek on May 18, 2014. Committed to educating the next generation of farmers, CLBL hosts this now annual event to showcase the Sacramento area’s farm-to-fork offerings while supporting CLBL’s programs. Guests will be treated to several courses made from fresh, local ingredients and created by Executive Chef Brian Mizner from Hook & Ladder Manufacturing Co. Some menu highlights will be sourced directly from CLBL’s California Farm Academy. Wine, cocktails and beer will also be flowing, with local brew selections from Ruhstaller and Bike Dog Brewing Company.
