Event Preview: TBD Fest goes Farm to Fork with Epic Chef Battle and More
Taking place on Oct. 3 – 5 in The Bridge District in West Sacramento, TBD Fest is one of Northern California’s largest independent music festivals. And while TBD Fest may be more widely known for three days of music from iconic artists such as Justice, Moby, Blondie and Empire of the Sun, there is another star-studded stage that will be sure to create just as much excitement.
TBD festival goers will enjoy a farm-to-fork-centric marketplace called the Artisanal Pavilion, presented by Raley’s and Metro Edge, that will feature a farmers market, a craft beer and cocktail garden, and one of the more anticipated activations over the three-day event, “The Pit”, a wood-fired cooking battle featuring chefs from acclaimed eateries such as LowBrau, Mother, Hook & Ladder Manufacturing Co., Grange Restaurant & Bar, Ten22, Paragary’s and more. These chefs will be going head to head, creating farm-to-fork bites and vying for the coveted “Pit Master” trophy.
