Rainbow City Park is a 6-piece indie-pop-rock band from Northern California with a sound comparable to Phoebe Bridgers, The Shins, Bon Iver, and Soccer Mommy. With their lineup solidified in early 2022, the band worked with sound engineer Pat Hills at Earth Tone Studio (notable artists include Tera Melos and Cruex Lies), and released three singles in the Spring of 2022.

The project is currently working with Ashely Rae at Rosa Mortem to record and release the next series of singles expected to be released in the Fall of 2022.

The band consists of Maria Angelica (singer), Dani Blankenship (singer, guitar, keyboard), Nick Nassab (guitar, vocals), Chris O’Keefe (guitar), Dwight Struthers (bass), and Ryan Williams (drums, guitar). The project is fronted by vocalists Maria Angelica and Dani Blankenship. While the music of Rainbow City Park often has a relatively upbeat vibe, the lyrics often focus on more serious topics. Run is about losing a friend from high school and admiring how brave and high-spirited that person was in the face of adversity. The lyrics in be Be address the loss of innocence in children due to the difficult process of migration and assimilation, as well as the continual strain on children of immigrants to become the bridge between their parents and America. Six Feet Over describes how the stresses of everyday life rob us of our ability to wonder and awe at the simple things.
