As part of Visit Sacramento’s new America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative (DEI) and in partnership with Bank of America, a new vendor scholarship has been established for minority-owned, ethnically diverse- and LGBTQ-owned businesses and organizations in the food and agricultural space. This scholarship was designed to provide more opportunity for participation from individuals or businesses who have been historically underrepresented at Sacramento’s annual Farm-to-Fork Festival and to provide a more inclusive experience for all festival-goers.

The Impact Vendor Scholarship will be awarded to five (5) small businesses and organizations majority-owned by anyone who identifies as minority/person(s) of color and/or LGBTQ; has not previously participated as a Farm-to-Fork Festival vendor; demonstrates a financial need; and agrees to abide by the Farm-to-Fork Guidelines.

This scholarship funds participation at the Farm-to-Fork Street Festival for Saturday, Sept. 18, 11 am-9 pm, taking place on Capitol Mall.

The award decision will be made by a DEI committee which will consist of a Bank of America representative, Visit Sacramento staff, and Visit Sacramento stakeholders.
