Executive Chef and Partner, Paragary’s Restaurant Group
Kurt Spataro is Executive Chef and Partner of Paragary’s Restaurant Group in Sacramento, California which operates eight restaurants in the Sacramento area. He also oversees five restaurants located within the Golden 1 Center and the Esquire Grill located inside the B Terminal of the Sacramento International Airport.
He is a member of Slow Food USA, a member of the faculty at American River College, Board President of Soil Born Farm, and has trained extensively in Mexico, Italy, and Asia. He is also in a select group trained by Verace USA in the making of authentic Neopolitan pizza.
Kurt has donated his time and resources for his “Chef Dinner” auction item and through his donations, has raised tens of thousands of dollars for The Sacramento Children’s Home, The SPCA, The March of Dimes, and many other local charities.
As a lifelong musician, Kurt continues to perform at community and charitable events. He and his wife Kitty O’Neal were featured performers in the Skip’s Music 40th Anniversary Concert at the Sacramento Music Festival and perform frequently, with their band Skyler’s Pool, at outdoor Festivals and concert venues. The band released an EP of original music in January, 2017.
