Join Chef Patrick Mulvaney at UC Davis


What’s better than dining with one of the region’s leading farm-to-fork chefs? How about cooking alongside him?

UC Davis’ College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will welcome Chef Patrick Mulvaney of Mulvaney’s B&L on Feb. 28 as a part of its ongoing ”Great Chefs” series. Mulvaney, who was selected in 2014 to prepare a Sacramento-centric meal at the famed James Beard House, is a leading regional expert on the farm-to-fork movement.

From 9 a.m. until noon, participants will prepare a meal with Mulvaney in the Innovations Kitchen, and then enjoy the fruits of their labor over lunch together. Following lunch, attendees will be treated to a lecture from Mulvaney, as well as food, wine and beer.

A few tickets are still available for the full day’s session, as well as half-day tickets for the afternoon lecture portion of the series.
