The Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB) proudly presents the fourth annual Farm-to-Fork Festival for the public as educational and entertainment events, and reserves all right as producers. The SCVB reserves the right to refuse anyone participation at this event.
By signing and submitting the online application, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Violations of these terms and conditions can be cause for removal from festival grounds without refund.
VENDOR PLACEMENT: Only a limited number of vendors in any one category will be accepted. Decisions are based on, but not limited to, history, booth appeal and available space. We reserve the right to refuse any vendor.
INSURANCE: All vendors are required to carry a minimum $1,000,000 liability insurance. The “Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau” must be listed as the certificate holder with an address of 1608 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. An endorsement naming “the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Sacramento, its officials, agents, employees and volunteers” must accompany the certificate of insurance. All vendors must agree to hold harmless, the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau, their staff, and the City of Sacramento for losses of any kind, whether by fire, theft, physical violence, elements of nature, or any other cause.
PERMITS: All vendors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses to operate and/or sell at this event. Proper permits, licenses and forms must be on display within the vendor’s space.
ELECTRICITY: An electrical connection of up to 15 amps may be purchased for an additional fee. The locations for which power can be supplied are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis only. Exhibitors will have one power connection per booth and are responsible for their own power strips or extension cords within their booth area. Due to the City of Sacramento fire regulations, exhibitors wishing to bring their own generators may do so only with prior written consent of the SCVB.
CALIFORNIA STATE FIRE MARSHALL CODE: Food Vendors are required to meet the standards as it applies to your tent, rig, fire extinguisher, etc. Failure to comply may result in closure of your booth.
SACRAMENTO COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FORM: All vendors are required to meet the Sacramento County Health Department codes for cooking, serving, screening, warming and sanitation. A form is required and is available in the vendor application on our website. The Sacramento County Health Department fee of $65 is included in your vendor fee (Veterans are not exempt). Alcoholic beverages and water sales are strictly prohibited.
CLEANUP: All garbage and waste must be bagged and deposited in the trash cans at the end of the day. Vendors are responsible for the condition of their areas during and after the event. A minimum $200.00 fee will be charged to your credit card if any clean-up is necessary after the vendor has vacated the area.
VENDOR DAY OF PACKET: The day-of Vendor Information Packet will be emailed to all confirmed vendors, several weeks before the event.
BOOTH OPERATION: Only approved products may be sold from vendor space. Vendors shall not extend beyond allotted space unless authorized by management in addition to paying for added space.
PAYMENT: Once your vendor application has been approved by the SCVB, an invoice for the total amount and credit card application will be sent to you.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS: There will be no refunds. The event will be held rain or shine.
FESTIVAL SECURITY: The Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau will not provide security. Vendors are responsible for all possessions.
ENFORCEMENT: Decisions made by the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau are final.
