Sacramento State Farm-to-Fork Festival

As part of Sacramento State’s Hornet Weeks of Welcome, this event is a unique event produced for students by students. The festival and keynote speaker is hosted by Student Health & Counseling Services and the Family and Consumer Sciences department.

All events planned as part of the Sacramento Farm-to-Fork event address aspects of food systems and focus on students and student leadership, community partnerships and engagement, campus education, campus and food inclusivity, food access, local food, and resources for action on the annual theme. This year’s theme, “The Hands That Feed Us,” will highlight the more than one million individuals who provide food for our tables in the many sectors of our food system, through a film, festival, and keynote speaker. A percentage of the proceeds from the dinner tickets with benefit the on campus College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).

Schedule:
-10am-2pm: Farm-to-Fork Festival at the Library Quad
-3pm-5pm: La Cosecha/The Harvest film screening at the Hinde Auditorium, University Union
-5:30pm: Keynote Speaker David Bacon at the Guy West Plaza
-6:30 pm: Guy West Bridge Dinner (Sold Out)
