Chef Bucky Bray, a native of Elk Grove, California, began his culinary journey at the age of 17, discovering his passion for the restaurant industry early on. His first experience with fine dining was at the renowned Mulvaney’s B&L, which ignited his ambition to pursue a career in the culinary arts.

Bucky honed his skills at Ella and then at The Kitchen, where he spent four years contributing to the team that earned Sacramento its first Michelin Star. He then joined the Michelin-rated restaurant Canon as a Sous Chef in 2021.

Today, Chef Bucky Bray serves as the Chef de Cuisine at Cantina Pedregal in Folsom, where he continues to express his love for hospitality and his commitment to taking care of people through hard work and culinary excellence. Bucky’s journey is a testament to his passion for the restaurant industry and his unwavering dedication to the craft of cooking.
